Guide to Submitting Excellent Order Photos

When placing your order, providing clear, high-quality photos helps ensure the final product is accurate and detailed. Here’s how to capture and submit the best possible images:

1. Use a High-Quality Camera

Make sure your camera can capture images of 4 megapixels or more. Always upload the original full-size file — avoid resizing or compressing before submission.

2. Ensure Proper Lighting

  • Take photos in natural daylight, avoiding harsh direct sunlight.

  • Avoid photographing in low light or evening settings.

  • Keep exposure balanced — the image shouldn’t be too bright (washed out) nor too dark.

  • Use neutral or light-colored backgrounds. Avoid bright or colorful surfaces that may cast unwanted color reflections onto your subject.

  • Stay away from the camera’s built-in flash whenever possible.

3. Pose for Accuracy

  • Photograph your subject in the same pose you'd like replicated or highlighted in the final product.

  • For pets, for instance, if the stuffed model will be sitting, submit photos of the pet in a sitting position.

4. Ensure Sharp Focus

  • Avoid blurry or out-of-focus shots.

  • Use a tripod or stable surface if your hands shake or lighting requires a slower shutter speed.

  • Lock focus on the most important parts (face, markings, etc.).

These multiple perspectives help ensure your custom item captures all dimensions and details faithfully.

We hope this revised guide helps you or your customers take and submit order photos that result in an excellent final product.
